Suite Talk: Tenant Testimonials

Don’t take our word for it, but definitely take theirs. See what our residents have had to say about what it’s like to live at our building in West Hollywood.

Maddie & Alex

My wife and I both love living in our apartment! We were new to LA (and the US in general) and didn’t know what to expect. After viewing many places in many different areas, none had exactly what we were looking for. When we first saw this place my wife immediately said, “This is it!” I took a little more convincing, but two years on we couldn’t be happier.

We love how close it is to all the excitement of West Hollywood while still being a quiet, little oasis away from the world. The vintage style meshes really well with the modern appliances and the unique layout feels very spacious. We also love the neighbors and were quickly welcomed into the community. Five stars from us!”

Sarah & Ashley

From the moment we walked in the door, we knew this was home. We had lived in West Hollywood prior to the pandemic and were afraid we would never find a place that we loved again – we were wrong. We feel even more at home here than we did before!

The location is perfect for all of our nightlife, dining, and shopping needs. The apartment is the perfect combination of old and new. The character of the building shines while also providing the most luxurious modern amenities. The remodeled kitchen is a cook’s dream and the crown molding offers something you can only find in an older building. It is simply wonderful. We love living here and calling it home.

The management is also top-notch! Never have we had such a welcoming building manager who made our move seamless and immediately made us feel at home. The community being cat friendly is also a huge plus, as we love seeing our fur baby so welcome as well! Truly we have found the hidden gem of West Hollywood and are happy to call it our home.”

My wife and I love our apartment. The building is older, which gives it a lot of character, but also has newer updates and appliances. There’s a great sense of community with the neighbors as well. The front yard areas are perfect for small get togethers and the location is great too – everything you need is within walking distance.”

We’ve rented several apartments in Los Angeles and this one tops the list! Inside and out, it’s a place we loved calling home.

As soon as you step foot on the property, you can sense that you’re in for a treat. The exterior is charming and draws you in: from the semi-secluded gathering space in front, to the beautifully maintained inner courtyard with fountain and foliage.

Then there’s the apartment itself. I loved coming home and stepping into the spacious living room with floor-to-ceiling bay window looking out onto the courtyard. When I transitioned to remote work at the start of the pandemic, I turned the space in front of the bay window into a work area and the rich light paired with the greenery just beyond the window was refreshing.

The cherry on top–and frequently I’ve found this to be something to bemoan rather than praise–was the management. They go out of their way to ensure the property looks great and that everything is in working order. And if the apartment felt like home, it was in large part due to their attentiveness and the pride they take in this gem of a complex.”

As soon as I found The Hepburn, I knew it would be my home — and this is before I ever saw it in person! The layout is beyond spacious and the details really make it special.  I love the crown molding, the big bay window, the dark wood floors, and the kitchen is HUGE.  Additionally, the building manager is attentive and fast to respond to any concerns or questions, which is not something I have experienced in other big city apartments.  I have lived in other apartments but never felt that one was truly home. I could not be happier here!”

Mike & Lindsey

“This apartment is easily our favorite place that we’ve ever lived! It feels more like a home thanks to a private entrance, no downstairs neighbor, and only one shared wall making it feel like a private oasis.

The apartment interior is beautiful and mixes vintage accents like original crown molding with modern features like glass built-in shelves and a remodeled, oversized kitchen. It also has window lined walls that let in an incredible amount of natural light during the day and two walk-in closets that provide a generous amount of storage in the living room.

It is a dream to live in this unit and we frequently find ourselves talking about how lucky we feel to live here and how we never want to leave.”

Brady & Jacob

“Hands down one of the best experiences we’ve had living in an apartment.  The property manager made the whole leasing process seamless and was very thorough – down to the details on getting parking permits.

We LOVE our floor plan – there’s a full kitchen, lots of cabinet space, and our favorite detail is the espresso-colored floors – there’s just nothing like real hardwood.  But more than that, it’s the small touches that make this place home: like mints in the laundry room, a waiting list system for laundry with your own name tag and locker, and the location is perfect – we’re a stone’s throw away from all of our favorite spots on Santa Monica Blvd.

And the management team is on it.  Literally a text away and always gets back to you within 30 minutes.  We even had a gift box waiting for us when we walked in for the first time.  Definitely VERY lucky to have found this place.”

Brad & Savannah

“There is so much to say about this beautiful suite.  The open floor plan allows for so much creativity in the interior design of the unit. The mix of modern black floors and the vintage crown molding add a beauty that few apartments in LA have.

The kitchen is huge! There are enough cabinets to house all of our cooking equipment, pantry items, and bar/wine items.  The appliances are more upgraded than they needed to be and it’s extremely appreciated.  The beautiful vintage windows in the living room and bedroom add a great amount of natural light when desired and great airflow when you open them all up.  My wife and I find ourselves saying at least once a week, ‘We’ll be so sad to leave this stunning apartment one day.'”

Lauren

“Great building, neighborhood, and management.  The apartments have great classic Hollywood charm with a modern touch as well as lots of beautiful windows and light.  The grounds are wonderfully maintained and the residents are friendly and polite.  What else can you ask for?  So far the best building I’ve lived in and made a home.”

Michael

“Over the past 12 years I have lived in six apartments spanning DC, New York, and LA. This apartment has unquestionably been my favorite.  It is easily walkable to one of the best neighborhoods in all of LA – from great restaurants on Santa Monica Blvd, to shopping on Melrose, to bar hopping or catching shows on Sunset. I could not imagine a better location.

The layout of my apartment was absolutely perfect for a single or couple.  Living room: huge.  Bedroom: huge.  Kitchen: huge (and as someone that loves to cook – this was a big one for me!).  And the new hardwood floors and completely renovated kitchen/bathroom maintain the Old Hollywood charm and add modern style.

Over the years, I’ve received countless compliments on both the apartment’s style/layout and its phenomenal location.  And the neighbors are unbelievably welcoming and friendly – it truly feels like our own small community.  Many have become great friends.”

Brian

Living here was like a dream.  From the moment I stepped in and saw the beautiful suite, I knew it would be a wonderful place to call home.  The grounds are maintained beautifully, the residents are polite and friendly, and the property manager does an excellent job of taking care of anything you may need.  She’s even there just to sit and talk sometimes. It definitely is a place I will always remember fondly.”

Marie

“I just loved the restored community from the minute I went to look at it.  I knew when I saw the apartment, it would be a great place to live.  The manager was so thoughtful to include me and communicate with me as they renovated the unit before I moved in.  I felt like it was customized for me!

While living there, I felt safe and well taken care of. Bonus was that everything from groceries to great restaurants were just steps away. Living at the building was a great experience. The care and management of the property was always a #1 priority.  It was extremely convenient to have safe and secure on-site parking as well as laundry facilities.

The apartments are well appointed and updated with a stylish, modern and charming look and feel.  I was always made to feel welcome as a part of the community by the manager and residents.  Given the activity of nearby streets, I felt safe and secure and the complex was quiet.  I would highly recommend the community and hope you will enjoy living there as much as I did.”

Alistair

The location is amazing and the building was quiet and friendly with a great management team who were always there to help and assist with anything I needed.  I loved the place the minute I saw it and was very happy while I lived there!”

I knew the minute I walked into the apartment that I had found my future home.  Being a newbie to LA, I had a picture in my head of what I wanted my LA home to look like – classic Hollywood with modern touches and a great location.  And to make it even better, the neighbors and onsite property manager were friendly and great.  It’s a special place to have called home.”

Caity

“Living in this building was a wonderful experience.  The location was fantastic and so close to everything!  Even walking distance to do groceries, dry cleaning, and amazing restaurants.  The apartments are well maintained and beautifully restored.  I would highly recommend living here!”

Brian & Drew

“Lived here for one year and loved it.  The property manager was AMAZING…so friendly, helpful, and attentive to our needs.  Always had a smile on her face and was quick to resolve any concerns we had during our time there.

Our kitchen was HUGE and had a cute little dining area.  The floor plan felt more like a house than an apartment and had TONS of closet space.  The bathroom was a bit small but the rest of the rooms were spacious. The area is very safe and quiet with tree-lined streets and friendly neighbors. It’s also close enough to walk to several great restaurants, bars, and grocery stores. I totally miss walking next door for dinner at Marix, Basix, and Hamburger Mary’s.

I highly recommend living here. Great neighborhood, great apartment, and great management. You’ll really enjoy calling this place home!”
