Elaine’s 80th Birthday Surprise – Shh…

Can you keep a secret?

It’s time to celebrate – Elaine The Great!
She finally gets to add an 8
To her age this year
And let’s be clear
We must all keep quiet
About this surprise, my dear

Because as the saying goes…
Telephone, tele-friend, tele-Soost
We’d like to surprise Elaine with a boost
Of cheer, memories, and good wishes
Hopefully a few giggles to keep her in stitches

So tell us your fave memory or laugh
Since we can’t all be together for a big bash
We’ll surprise Elaine on her birthday
And show her the love in the best way

Our plan is to collect one memory and one wish from each of you – our goal is to get 80! Your name will be printed on the outside of a pretty yellow envelope (her favorite color) that will be attached to a balloon. When she opens the envelope, we will include your memory and wish inside on a card. We will surprise her with all of the balloons on her birthday, January 18th.

Now, for the “wishes”. Think of something positive and fun to do (that’s realistic – she’s not going to go skydiving), something she has never tried, or something that you love that you wish you could do virtually with her. A shot of fireball whiskey? Attend a drag queen bingo brunch? Get a blow out? Try sashimi for lunch? See the Grand Canyon? Make your wish something attainable and hopefully we can document her completing them throughout the next year to share with you.
